PROGRESS 2010-2023

Trine Ross, Art Historian and Art Critic says of the creation of DODEKALITTEN:

"DODEKALITTEN is an impressive work that, with its circle with the stone figures, creates a magical force. The interaction between sculptures and music is unique in that the music is somewhat ephemeral, belonging to the present, while the stone sculptures represent eternity. This work of art creates the setting for a new cultural meeting, where one's body is immersed in a completely new way, as you constantly relate to the very large sculptures, the music and the magic of the circle in the public space. The work is a work under construction over a very long time - a work in progress. Here the process is part of the work itself, which in many ways resembles life, where it is not the end, the conclusion that is important – it is the work towards it. DODEKALITTEN creates identity, community and inspires innovation."

Ulla Schaltz, Museum Director Museum Lolland-Falster:

"DODEKALITTEN is a wild and crazy project – in a good way. A magnificent example of where, in an otherwise volatile world, with the long haul and great will power, you can create a very high-quality art project, which in principle can stand forever. DODEKALITTEN will be an enduring monument to our time."
